THE THERAPY INTENSIVE

Same fight, different night. That's not a sign you're broken, it's a sign nothing's ever had enough room to actually change.

A private couples intensive using Internal Family Systems (IFS), Relational Life Therapy (RLT), and Gottman. 1-3 days. Online worldwide, or as a retreat in Bali.

the pattern

Same fight, different night. Feeling alone in your own relationship, even when your partner's right there.

Weekly sessions haven't moved it. What you need is a concentrated couples intensive, private, therapist-led, built to actually break the cycle instead of managing it one session at a time.

the outcome

To feel united again, not just coexisting, but actually on the same side.

To leave with real clarity on where this relationship is going, together, not each of you guessing alone.

how it compares

Most couples land here after spending thousands on weekly therapy that never quite got anywhere. Sixty to ninety minutes once a week is built for maintenance, not depth, and just as something real surfaces, the session ends.

An intensive works differently because the format is different, not longer sessions, but uninterrupted time that lets the work build instead of restarting every week. That's why intensives have become the standard for couples serious about changing the pattern.

Weigh that against what staying stuck actually costs, years inside the same fight, and for some couples, eventually, separating entirely. This is for couples who'd rather do the real work once than pay a little every week for a pattern that never moves.

HOW THE INTENSIVE UNFOLDS

Couple Intensive

USD 1,500 per day. 6 hours, including breaks. 1, 2, or 3 days. Online or in Bali.

Six hours of focused work, paced with real breaks. Not a marathon. Multi-day formats build session to session, so the work compounds instead of restarting each week.

Step 1 — pre intensive

Every intensive begins with a free consult and a private workbook to map your history and goals so the work is precisely tailored to you.

Step 2 — Naming the Pattern

We slow down and name what's really happening between you, not just the fight on the surface, but the stress response underneath it, and where you likely first learned to react that way, often long before this relationship existed.

Step 3 — Uncovering the Roots

The longest part of the work. We go underneath the stress response to where it actually started, opening real pathways to healing and more choice in how you relate, not just practicing a different reaction in the moment.

Step 4 — Carrying It Home

Building the practical skills to take this new way of relating back into daily life, so it holds once you're out of the room.

Step 5 — Post Intensive

One to two weeks after your intensive, we check in together. This is where we look at what's actually holding, what's shifted since you left, and whether continued support is required.

Your therapist

Before training as a mental health therapist, Shabnam spent close to two decades in the corporate world herself. That lived experience is what sets her apart from other therapists.

FAQs

Do we need to already be in crisis to do this?

No. Some couples come in crisis, others come to get ahead of one before it starts.

What if only one of us wants to come?

One partner ready is enough to begin the conversation about whether this fits.

Is this different from a couples retreat or workshop?

Yes. This is private, one-on-one work with your therapist, not a group format.

What happens after we go home?

You leave with a clear map of your pattern and a concrete plan, with follow-up support available if you want it.

How does payment work?

We accept Bank Transfer and Credit Card payment.

What if I need to reschedule?

Intensive need to be re-sheculed 2 weeks’ in advance.

What does the Bali retreat option include?

Clients are responsible for their own accommodation and travel costs; Shabnam's costs are included in the total intensive fee, confirmed after your consult call, separate from the per-day intensive rate.

How do I book?

Inquire below. You'll get a short discovery call to confirm the format and dates before anything is charged.
